Can I use Cityfood 4U account to place orders in Online Grocery Shop?
You have to register New Account Online to be able to order grocery products for Home Delivery.
Do Cityfood 4U deliver in my area?
Our grocery delivery service covers most residential addresses in Dublin, please check the map on the website. In case we cannot deliver to your address, a message will appear. Please contact our customer support team on 089 247 45 40 if you have additional questions.
How to order?
You must place your order before 4pm on www.CityFood4U.ie/grocery and we will deliver Next Day from 12 pm to 10 Pm.
What hours do you deliver?
You can usually have your shopping delivered between 12pm and 10pm Monday to Sunday
On the website you should choose two slots of delivery:
1. from 12pm till 5pm
2. from 5pm till 10pm
Please be sure when you place an order that someone will be able to receive it at chosen time.
What is the minimum order?
Minimum order 50 Euro.
What is delivery charge?
Delivery charge is fixed rate of 5 Euro.
How can I pay for my order?
Due to current safety measures with COVID-19 we are accepting only payments by cards.
Why do you charge for the service?
Please note that all prices in online shop are the same as in our network of PoloStores shops.
Once you've placed your grocery order online there's a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to get your shopping to you. We have a team of people who work to make this service possible, our personal shoppers who have to pick every item according to your instructions, our packers who carefully pack your products and our drivers who drive the groceries to your house and deliver direct to your door. All of these elements and more make up our service charge.
What if my delivery is late?
We try our very best to inform our customers of any potential delay as soon as possible. Our driver will contact you by phone to correct time of delivery. However, occasionally delays can occur which are often beyond our control.
How do you deliver?
The driver will bring the shopping to your door, you will check if everything is accordingly what you have ordered and you will be asked to sign our copy of receipt.
For safety we are practising contact free delivery, where we can leave your shopping at your door, driver will stand back 2 meters, allow you to pick up your order and sign it and then pick up signed documents and leave.
Our staff and delivery personnel are adding to the normal hygiene procedures, hand washing and sanitising practices, wearing disposable gloves and changing them between deliveries to Customers.
What happens if I am not in?
The driver will leave a note with the date and time they called.
Please contact the number on the note to arrange a second delivery, which will be subject to a second delivery charge. Time and date should be arranged additionally.
My grocery order has items missing
We are sorry if there are missing items from your grocery order. It can be for the reason that some of the products might be out of stock on delivery day due to current high demand. We will make a refund on paid amount on missing items.
Please note that we are not doing the replacement of Goods.
What is your refund and returns policy?
If you are in any way dissatisfied with any of the goods that have been delivered, the driver will return those goods to the store and put a request of refund. We’ll review request within 24 hours and will process the refund to your payment card. Once approved, the refund arrives in your bank account within 3 to 5 days, once cleared by your bank.
If you would like to make a return when our driver already left, you can bring that item to our address Cityfood 4U, Unit 2C, Century Business Park, Melville road, Dublin 11.
All returns will be refunded in a way we have specified above.
Why can I not add alcohol to my basket?
We are unable to deliver alcohol for legal reasons.
